For Bruce Simpson, running a guesthouse in Fort Lauderdale is a natural fit. It’s the perfect opportunity to unite thirteen years of hospitality and corporate-events experience with a variety of personal passions — like meeting people from all over; working and living in a vibrant gay community; keeping up on design and landscaping (both at the guesthouse, and via local cultural institutions); and, of course, enjoying an active, outdoor life alongside a warm, blue ocean.

“I know what I like, when I travel,” Bruce points out. He understands the importance of details and anticipates what people need to feel comfortable – hallmarks of a good host. And, he adds, “We have a great staff that enjoys being here as much as I do.”
