Step through our coral-pink doors into a private world. Drink in the turquoise waters of our sparkling pool and 12-man Jacuzzi, and the emerald greens of our lovingly-tended courtyard landscape. Scan our sun-drenched, clothing-optional patio, and mentally reserve a favorite lounge chair – maybe next to the guest who’s smiling hello? Enter your clean, fresh, colorful room or suite, unpack, and feel the last of your tensions melt away.
From the moment you’ve arrived at Coral Reef Guesthouse, you know you’re in for some friendly, relaxing, tropical fun. Your hosts, Frank and Bruce, have seen to it that Coral Reef offers everything you'd expect from comfortable, informal, and intimate gay accommodations. But it’s their warm hospitality, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail that you’ll feel and see in every corner, and that will make your stay truly a cut above. No wonder we’re attracting discerning men from around the world!
Established in 1997, Coral Reef Guesthouse is located on a quiet street in upscale, residential Coral Ridge, near the Intracoastal Waterway. There is plentiful, designated free parking in front of the property. A ten-minute drive (or a little longer, on one of our complimentary bikes) takes you to gay Sebastian Street Beach or, in the other direction, the heart of gay Fort Lauderdale: Wilton Manors. There, on Wilton Drive, you can hobnob with the locals, while browsing a variety of gay bars, shops, and eateries.
A pleasant, ten-minute walk brings you to Fort Lauderdale’s acclaimed Galleria, with numerous restaurants and shops, as well as Saks, Neiman Marcus, and Macy’s. Borders Books, with a waterfront café, is just as near and stays open late. Venture across the Middle River Bridge to the Gateway Shops, more restaurants, and the Gateway Theater, our local independent (gay) cinema.
At the neighborhood yacht club, our fifty-eight-foot cruiser, Stingray, awaits your company for a weekend jaunt along scenic, nearby waterways. Lounge on deck and imagine the good life as Katherine Hepburn or Cary Grant – whichever suits you best!
Everything else you’ve come for – state parks, downtown shopping and dining, Las Olas and River Walk strolling, and a host of nighttime hotspots – is close, too. Thirty minutes will take you to the nude beach at Haulover Park, and 45 minutes, to the neon-lit shores of Miami’s South Beach.
Our staff is your personal concierge: we're happy to give pointers, suggestions, and info about anything you might need. Find the latest local listings publications and travel magazines, along with a computer station and internet access, just off the pool area. That’s next to the kitchen, where you can help yourself to light afternoon snacks, and a tasty, plentiful, continental breakfast.
Aren’t you more relaxed just thinking about your visit? Come join the other men already charmed by Coral Reef’s casual, attentive sophistication. We’re here to help you make hot and happy memories, under the Florida sun and stars!
